The Tithe Barn is a perfect venue for corporate events and exhibitions. It’s a flexible space suited to team-building events, training, product launches, meetings, parties, private dinners and conferences.
AMCI organised a Mazda UK training day recently, which utilised Kingscote Estate as one of the training locations. The Tithe Barn was used to deliver an interactive training session for the launch of the all-new Mazda MX-5.
Fully refurbished, the barn ground floor seats up to 150 theatre-style and 120 at round tables. It features under-floor heated stone floors, a state-of-the-art kitchen area for catering and cookery courses and full AV and IT facilities. An open gallery area on the first floor overlooks the ground floor.
David Hughes, Director of the Vehicle Knowledge Centre for AMCI said, “Kingscote Estate provided a great backdrop to our training. We organise automotive events globally and found the combination of the facilities, the flexibility of the team and the location all combined to work superbly well and I can see how the facilities would lend themselves to any number of meetings, events or occasions.”
The cookery school makes the perfect team-building event. Cookery classes can be complemented with wine education classes, wine tasting and vineyard tours. Group activities can be booked such as foraging and clay pigeon shooting.
“Our activity at Kingscote was a fantastic team activity. In the beautiful barn, the cookery activity gave us the chance to get to know each other better and learn new skills. The competition [making choux pastry swans] got our competitive juices flowing and was a nice prelude to the more leisurely wine tasting. The team were unanimous in agreeing this was the most enjoyable offsite we’ve had to date!”
“Thank you for all your assistance in making the conference a success. Everyone has given very positive feedback on the venue, lunch and the day as a whole plus we were blessed with the good weather!”
